	<title>Banks</title>
	<description>
What are your thoughts on banks? There truly is a lot to be said about financial institutions, including Bank of America; where on earth would someone begin who was given a free range to comment on them?

Generalities about banks
Well, let's start with the obvious. Banks hold money that you deposit. The idea is to put the money into an account and be rewarded for doing so. That - we are told - is what the original idea was. What has happened is this: you use banks like Citibank to manage your financial accounts, and there are many different types:

 savings
 checking
 cds
 mutual funds
 money market accounts

And the list goes on and on. It seems that when a consumer has a lot of money to be invested in banks - those consumers are typically rewarded for this. On the other hand, consumers without lots of money to deposit at banks often are rewarded in all sorts of fees and other charges for not meeting dollar amount specifications to hold the accounts on a regular basis. What is a poor girl or boy to do?

Get more money. You will be rewarded. Then you can attract a big player like Chase for credit and other privileges. Just never, ever, ever get stuck without a lot of money. But don't rob banks to get the money. That is not good and banks are well protected. You'll never pull it off so don't even entertain the idea.
