	<title>Credit Cards</title>
	<description>
What Makes the World Go 'Round
Bill Gates and Oprah Winfrey may be billionaires, but guess what? They don't have billions in the bank. Most of their worth -- net or gross--is on paper. Without credit and credit cards there would not be as many millionaires or billionaires as there are today. Credit cards seemingly make the world go round.

Have you ever seen a celebrity go anywhere and pay cash for anything? Hardly. Most purchases are done by credit card, whether it be Visa credit cards or Chase credit cards. Even Britney Spears maxed out her credit card on a shopping spree once! The difference between a celebrity and the average person is not only the number of credit cards, but the spending limit on these cards. Credit cards are a wonderful thing, but only if you use them right. It's like a speed bump in the financial street, delaying payment for just a little while longer. The dangerous thing about credit cards however, is that too much delay creates traffic, traffic that needs to flow all at once at a later date. Credit cards can be useful, but in the wrong hands they can be detrimental, sometimes destroying the future of those who use them. That's why there are secured credit cards (also known as prepaid credit cards) and student credit cards - for those new to the financial world or wanting to re-establish themselves after a bumpy past.

What's the best way to tame credit cards? Possessing as little as possible, or paying them off ASAP. The reason credit cards have limits is so that people don't get carried away and end up having to sell body parts to pay off their debt. As long as you can keep your credit in check and not abuse your cards the happier your life will be. If you sink into that trap of bad credit, it's a long climb to the top. Learn more about credit and credit cards at any one of the major credit cards sites.
