Student Credit Cards

More "Pimp My Ride" than "MTV Cribs"

Being a penniless student in college is tough. We all know that. We've been there, we've done that, and we've survived what seemed like the worse. But there's no need to worry- even though it might seem like it, college won't last forever. You'll get out in no time, find that high-paying job and finally enjoy life the way it should be.

But for now, you've got your empty wallet and next week's bio-chemistry exam to worry about along with your roommate's pile of who-knows-what sitting in the kitchen and growing with life. Why not start off life on the right foot and apply for a no-hassle, quick and easy student credit card? With all the other things you've got going on right now (like impressing that hot chick from Idaho in your introductory business class and diving for pennies in your couch cushions in order to afford a luxury meal from Subway) you might as well take the time to check out what student credit cards are all about.

Your Key to a Secured Future

Even though we all get tired of watching endless television with programs that show us how celebrities we love to loathe live the high life with their millions in disposable income, we continue to do so especially when it's the only thing on. But don't be fooled. Just because they are worth millions, it doesn't mean they have millions in their bank account. What they are worth is how much they have available on their credit lines.

Although the good people at Visa credit cards or Chase credit cards might not give you the luxury to spend millions on their line of credit, they can start you off with a small credit limit that can eventually stretch into something grander in the future. Think we're joking? We're sure not. When you apply for any one of the many student credit cards that are out there, it gives you an opportunity to start building a good credit repertoire with those in the know in the financial bubble. Of course, you have to be careful to protect your good credit at the same time by not going overspending and making your payments on time and in full.

You can use student credit cards to pay for those needed expenses you have right now like textbooks, your groceries, or the gas you need to get your from point A to point B. Going overboard with your student credit cards might get you into a bit of a rough patch though- control your purchasing power and limit the amount you put on your card so you can pay it off with no problems when the time to do so comes.

Student Credit Cards

Credit cards are a good thing as long as you know how to use them and spend wisely with what you can afford. Don't keep the wait going much longer and apply for student credit cards today!
